Kyowa Shuzo
Enjoy sake and sweets in a traditional brewery.
In order to make tasteful sake in which you can really appreciate the good flavor of rice, Kyowa Shuzo emphasizes quality over mass production. We are particular about traditional methods for tank pressing or bag squeezing with each procedure carefully done by hand so as to create a sake with depth. We invite you to visit our brewery’s Café “Hatsuyuki” where we renovated the second floor of our brewery, originally built in the late 1860’s. Here you can enjoy limited-edition sakes available only in the brewery, and sweet rice beverage made from koji yeast; or you may want to try some sweets made from sake-kasu (rice cake after pressing).
